Growing up observing the gross isolationism of lastchkey-ist freedoms that can place nerd culture close. As a child I read a lot of webcomics that required a type of fluency with git pulls and table drops, but never learned the hard skill, always googling punchlines. Max MSP gave me little enough to be dangerous but not enough to think i knew anything. Los Angeles Electroacoustic Ensemble was a years long engagement with electroacoustic concert music and had some of my favorite playing and coding I had done at the time.
